Seeking U.S. Based Logistics Partner for Leading Asian Air Freight Forwarder
TDG is looking for a partner for a large Asian air freight forwarder.
TDG has been retained by a large Asian based forwarder to help find a logistics partner. This forwarder has over $2 billion dollars in annual sales and a worldwide network; they have hundreds of offices in Asia and around the world. They are a "traditional" IATA forwarder and do not operate any aircraft anywhere.
They are looking for a partner who can make use of their strengths in the international air and ocean forwarding arena, and where they in turn can call upon their partners expertise in other logistics services such as warehousing, order management, and in some cases, domestic U.S. transportation.
Their capabilities are 80% international transportation and forwarding and 20% warehousing and other logistics services. We would like to find a partner that would be a good "complimentor" to those capabilities; someone who has existing expertise in other logistics areas besides transportation; especially warehousing and logistics modeling capabilities. A U.S. based logistics provider who is seeking to expand their international logistics capabilities might be a perfect partner.
