Powell named as Program Co-Chair for 10th Air Cargo Shipper’s Conference in Los Angeles
John Youngbeck, Chairman of the Georgia Freight Bureau, producers of the Intermodal Expo and the Air Cargo Shippers Conference has announced that Jim Powell, President of Transportation Development Group will be program co-chairman with him for the 1998 Air Cargo Shipper’s Conference in Los Angeles. This 10th annual conference being held at the Los Angeles Airport Hilton Oct 7-9th, is timed to coincide with the Council of Logistics Management annual convention being held in Anaheim.
"We are going to leverage the fact many of the industry executives who are our presenters and speakers will also stay the weekend in L.A. and attend the CLM the following week," said Powell "our conference programs will focus on the air cargo portion of logistics, and will be a great lead in to the programs at the CLM which deal more broadly with other logistics functions."
